HOW TO BUILD NEW FURNITURE - using old furniture

I built this amazing cabinet with a lot of common items that can be found at Used building supply stores, thrifts stores, and some curb side treasure. Take a look through the following photos to see if these items might inspire you.

FRIGHTENING TO FRENCH - french book shelf

I was inspired to create a
french étagère after seeing

TWINS - pair of black night stands

These little fellows stand tall but don't
take up too much space at just 17.5" wide.

Below left you can see before the top surface trim was added.

Do you have matching night tables?

Or do you have a unique mismatched pair?

DESIGNER SECRETARY - revamped vintage drop front desk

I'm sure I must be going thru a paper phase,
beautiful paper thou.

This is designer wallpaper available at Walmart
that I used for interior of the desk writing area.

I also used it to line all the drawers.

I used appliques and wood trim to give this desk some style.

The paint color of the lower handles is called OYSTER
and dries in 10 minutes, but smells to high heaven.

Desk or ...

Vanity or ...

BOTH!

You tell me how you would use it.

WINE ANYONE? - glass hanger tutorial

I had to put an extra strip of wood along the back to
level the hangers because of the angle of
the ladder step. Under normal circumstances
you would not do this.
